BUILDING EXCELLENCE FOR OUR CLIENTS AND COMMUNITY
PROJECT AT A GLANCE
Winston Salem State University – Hill Hall Adaptive Re-Use
Winston Salem State
About This Project
This project was an adaptive re-use of Hill Hall on WSSU’s campus. With 33,000 square feet of reusable space, the building was originally constructed in 1964 as a science classroom building. The building was stripped down to the existing concrete and steel structure, concrete floor system, and roof system and converted into an Academic Student Success Center.
Additions to the north, south and east side of the existing Hill Hall enlarged the building to approximately 39,000 square feet of interior usable space. The project is a LEED Gold Certified facility.
