Charlotte Douglas International Airport
- Central Energy Plant
- Terminal Lobby Expansion
Construction of the Central Energy Plant began in January 2020 in the back of the Daily North Parking Lot. It’s purpose is to supply hot and cold water and electricity to the new terminal by way of the Utility Corridor which is still under construction.
The Terminal Lobby Expansion consists of an expansion to the North of the existing terminal lobby at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The expansion will create additional space for security lanes, ticketing, and baggage claim areas, as well as increased circulation space in the lobby. A canopy will be added over the new 8 lane elevated roadway in front of the terminal Lobby.
Experience Charlotte Convention Center Renovation
