As Director of WDSS, Ben’s responsibilities will include overseeing our innovative’ recruiting strategy along with setting the construction trade partner hiring goals. Likewise communicate and collaborate with City/County officials to Implement workforce development strategies to increase upward mobility opportunities within the local construction workforce. His efforts will include a plan to target underserved communities and administer tracking and reporting new hire success. Our WDSS team will utilize his Preconstruction / Senior Project Management experience to early‐on engage community resource partners and trade partners to define specific hiring needs and recruit local construction talent. Ben is an associate member of the AIA and holds a PMP university equivalent and completed his green belt DMAIC certification.

As Vice President of Strategic initiatives, Kim partners with the Director of WDSS to deliver Leeper's innovative workforce development program. Kim is an attorney and executive strategist, with over 24 years of experience in management, workforce development, health and human services, higher education administration, and labor and employment relations. She earned her bachelor's degree from Columbia University in the City of New York and law degree from Fordham University. She most recently served as the Ohio Governor's appointed Director of the Department of Job and Family Services, a state agency that provides critical workforce development and family support services. She also served as Senior Vice President of Administration and General Counsel at Columbus State Community College. She began her career as a labor and employment attorney, and then served in leadership roles at the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.
